Being a big sister has always been my favorite job; therefore, I have always sought out opportunities to mentor. I believe that each child is unique and learns at his or her own pace, and in her or his own special way. During my four years obtaining a bachelor's degree in biology, I spent five semesters being a tutor in college algebra, statistics, pre-med biology, and spanish 101. In addition to my tutoring of college students I was a note taker for students with disabilities in various courses as well as on the academic committee in my fraternity.
