I firmly believe that an education is the key to anyone success.I know for a fact that anyone can learn anything. It takes time and patience for most to achieve this. I teach students to look at not just the why and how of things but its application to todays issues. We need people to learn as much as they can in order for them to take their place in this vast world we live in. I teach using a slow deliberate approach to learning. I have a daughter in the 8th grade and a son in the 6th. I have home schooled them the past 9 years. They have very different learning styles which has helped me to learn to teach in different ways to accommodate their needs. I am patient and easy going and I love helping kids.
I have a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in accounting. I have very strong math skills, especially in Algebra, which is what my daughter is learning now. I excelled in grammar, art, health, and science as well. I was a teacher at a private school for a year after college before I started a family and began home schooling. My daughter is now in the 8th grade and tests at the college level in reading and high school levels at most other subjects.
