A Little Bit About Me...

Following my graduation from USM, I had many experiences teaching a variety of children from many cultures. Having taught in a DODDS school in Karlsruhe, Germany I was exposed to the German way of teaching. My first year of teaching was in an inner city school thar offered many challengs. I believe my experience teaching children from diverse backgrounds prepared me to handle any situation in the teaching environment.
I love children and I love teaching them. I believe in an individualized style of teaching that caters to a child's individual needs. Because I love teaching, I am a patient and caring teacher. I believe every child can learn, and implement a way of learning around that belief. I like to make a difference and "see the light come on". When it does, I know I have done my job.

A Little Bit About Me...

I am a graduate of the University of Southern MS, with a undergraduate in Business Marketing. I began teaching and tutoring in 2008-2009 school for Jackson Public Schools. I underwent the Alternative Route for teaching for ceritification. I am the Aaccelerated Reader Coordinator for Lee Elementary School. I also serve as Head Librarian for the school as well. Our school has implemented a plan in which Resource staff tutors daily. I tutor grades 3-5 in areas of Mathematics, Reading and Language Arts. In addition, I am exceptional with grammatical skills and love to write papers.
