Elementary Phonics is one of my top subjects!

I have been a tutor for over four years now. I work with all ages, at Sullivan Learning Company I work with K-8th, at Clovis High School I worked with high school students and I have done Spanish tutoring on my own with adults. I also teach Sunday school so I am accustomed of working with both individuals and big groups.

I have worked with many groups of children from grades k-12. My main focus is working with elementary students. Most of my experience is working with grades k-6. My number one field is math. I'm more concerned in helping students with math because this is usually the field were most students are having trouble. A good environment is essential to learning. A rich learning environment that cares about the deficiency needs so that intellectual achievement may occur. They will know where they stand. Students will have ideas. Those ideas will be considered valuable. Modeling and scaffolding will be used to create a foundation for learning. The success will create more motivation. Wait time will increase so students can make better responses. Constructivism will be used so the students can apply, and link the lesson to prior knowledge in a way they can retain it. .
