I began my college journey as an English major. I decided to switch to Elementary Education to be able to reach future writers before they lost the love for it. My comments on tutoring Reading Comprehension : I am a certified K-8 elementary teacher and have taught for 8 years. I have my Master's Degree in Reading. I have my Reading Specialist certification and have taught first grade for most of my career. Thus, I have extensive work teaching students the various aspects of reading.
