I graduated from one of the top teaching schools in the nation (according to NCATE), and have a degree in elementary and special education. I specialized in math education, but am also qualified to teach English, science, and social studies. I have worked with children as young as 2 years old and as old as 15 in a formal setting. I have helped children go from hating a subject to being successful and loving it.

While tutoring at my college, I received specialized training on identifying and adjusting to different learning styles. My twelve years of teaching experience includes: -typical classroom jobs at public and private schools in Alabama and Tennessee, -substituting in elementary schools in Oklahoma, -kindergarten aide stints, -and tutoring freshmen guys in college! I hold a BS in Commerce and Business Administration from the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa. My background is not in education however I have experience as a teacher. I have been a water safety instructor and lifeguard training instructor in which I have taught children from toddler age up to college age. I have also tutored my wife and sister in accounting and my 12 year old nephew in math.
