I have grammar for thirty years in various grades from Kindergarten to sixth grade. I use a combination of both online games and Websites and hands-on manipulatives. First, I like for the student to take multiple intelligence tests and then I know how best to help the student. The information I gain from the analysis is extremely informative. It tells me where the students' strengths lie such as some students are musically inclined, some are visual learners, auditory learners, some are mathematicians and various other styles. Then, the style that they learn through the best is how I would teach the student; this is based on Gardner's Multiple Intelligence. I worked as an Elementary School teacher for three years teaching Kindergarten, Second and Third. I have many years of experience tutoring after school in all subject areas in grades K-7. I have also worked as an English mentor through Kumon Learning Centers as well as have many, many years of babysitting and nannying. I am hands on and very visual.
