I have a Bachelor's in Social Work and have worked in that field for a number of years. I have an Elementary Education degree with an endorsement in Special Education. I have worked as a para-educator for approximately two years in an elementary school setting. A Little Bit About Me...

As a parent of two school-aged children I have had the oppurtunity to learn about the newest teaching methods employed by teachers at this time. We often work together on math and science. I am currently working on my teaching certification in middle school science, but have always been had excelent aptitude for mathmatics. I also substitute in the Blue Springs, Grain Valley and Fort Osage School district in which I often assist students with work that has been left for them by the teacher, whether it be math, science or english. I am also a published writer and continue to write every day.
