I have taken calculus I, II, III, ordinary differential equations, general physics I & II, general chemistry I & II, and number theory. Other courses taken that involved mathematics were: physical meteorology, atmospheric dynamics I & II, weather analysis and forecasting I & II, micrometeorology, and remote sensing of the atmosphere. With these courses, I have developed a strong understanding in both math and science. I interned at Teterboro Airport as a Meteorologist in 2005; forecasting for local businesses. I have a passion for helping children! Each child learns in a different way, and as teachers it is our job to meet the student where they are. I am patient, and helpful, while still pushing the student to do their best. My goal is to help students develop a love for learning.
As a college graduate, I value the importance of education. I've earned a bachelor degree- a Bs in Biology where I've gained knowledge of science and math. In addition, I also have a Teacher's Certification for Elementary Education in a Hebrew school setting from Midrashah Junior College. I have always been driven to excel by my passion for learning and sharing what I know. At Cornell University, I earned my BA in Classics in 3.5 years, completing the requirements for both the Latin and Ancient Greek majors independently.
