My personal style of learning is to learn by doing. I get my students involved in any process and get them to actually do the work so they learn it from experience, not just reading about it and taking for granted they know what is going on. I have tutored students in math and science (mainly math) for over 13 years. I have helped students in various levels of mathematics - basic math, algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and pre-calculus. After working with me on a consistent basis (2/3 days/week) many of the students have received honors in their math courses, including "Most Improved" and "Highest Average". As a premedical student, my main focus during college was on biology, chemistry, physics, and math. Through extensive lab work, I have also learned how to write scholarly reports.
