I began my teaching career in Cooperstown, NY in 2001, as a mid-career professional in search of a meaningful job. Previously, I worked in the entertainment industry. Again, I have learned that all children learn differently and one approach does not work for all. I have several tried and true techniques to guide my son in the learning (in mainly reading and comprehension) and not only help him learn, but to make it an enjoyable experience.
