Because all students learn differently, it is important for me as a teacher to get to know each student to find out what fits their needs the best. I like to offer a variety of activities that appeal to the hands-on learns, as well as kids that need visual cues. I am a patient, encouraging and energetic teacher. I have recently graduated from the University of Delaware and intend to pursue a Ph.D. in chemistry within the next few years. As a graduate of Northern Illinois University with a BS in Elementary Education, I received my first teaching position as a special education teacher in the Rockford School District, 205. I have earned my BS degree in Elementary Education. I student taught in first grade, and have taught for the last two years. My first year of teaching was at Eisenhower Middle School in Rockford, IL.
