I am a full-time high school teacher with over 12 years of experience in education. I specialize in Science, but have experience teaching and tutoring most levels and subjects. Throughout my 12 years in public education I have developed many skills to accommodate various student needs. I have a love for learning and inspiring my students to be life-long learners by making content meaningful. A Little Bit About Me...

Math is fun. Teaching math is more fun. I love playing with numbers and helping children also play with numbers and solve problems in the most easiest manner. I really wonder why does the clock move fast when I am in a math class.

A Little Bit About Me...

When I taught sailing to young kids, I used to dress up like a pirate. I have lots of energy. I know I'm doing my job right when kids start laughing. When I taught to teenagers, I kept in mind my own experiences at that age. If I'm helping a student study hard on that big, important test that might have the ability to crush the student's soul - I bust out my acoustic guitar and sing about how It's The End of The World As We Know It (And This Test Means Very Little In The Long Run).

As a University of Connecticut graduate, I was very driven by my passion for the sciences. I earned a BS in pathobiology with a minor in molecular and cell biology.
