As a recent graduate from Framingham State College, I have chosen to dedicate my life to helping others learn. I have chosen to teach young children because I aim to create the foundation for loving to learn in their early years to build upon in their future years. As a teacher, I am well aware of the many different ways that children learn. As I said previously, I have been art of both the middle and high school environment, and have worked with students of many different levels. Some children excel when given more time, focus, or a new take on their academics. A Little Bit About Me...

I am a retired Connecticut public school educator with over 30 years of experience. I taught both English and mathematics, grades 7 through 12, for the first fourteen years of my career. I was an administrator for the remainder of my career, serving at the high school level, middle schoollevel, elementary level, and central office level. My last four years were as a system-wide language arts and reading curriculum supervisor in which I worked with students, parents, teachers and other administrators.
The key to good teaching is determining the skills of each student, individualizing an instructional program to improve on those skills, and monitoring progress to improve the student's knowledge base.
