I am working on a master's degree in communication.

I am currently a substitute teacher at Mountain Grove Schools. My practicum was completed at Mountain Grove Elementary. Subjects taught include math, science, reading and social studies. I have children who are twenty one, seven, six, four, and two, as well as a granddaughter who is three. No two have learned in precisely the same way, and I have had to use multiple approaches to help them learn. I have also coached teams in five sports. Throughout high school and college, I performed at an academic level well above average. As a result, I often found myself helping my fellow students. As part of my graduate assistantship at Missouri State, I work in the math tutoring lab several hours a week, tutoring (primarily) algebra and calculus students. I also teach MTH 102, which is approximately equivalent to high school Algebra II. I also have a great deal of experience in history, literature, English, and the natural sciences and have helped other students in these fields in the past.
