I understand that finding the right tutor can be confusing and time consuming. My specialty is to offer a customized experience to each student. I recently graduated 'Summa Cum Laude' from Eastern CT State University with a BS in Business Administration. I personally can say that I have learned the most & can recall the most from those teachers that I consider my favorites. I believe it is because they knew how to inspire and motivate me to achieve what I thought I couldn’t or didn’t want to do. Those early experience is the inspiration behind the way I teach/tutor and write. I once heard it stated that ‘no one cares how much you know until they know how much you care’. I truly believe that you have to have a genuine interest in the individuals you are trying to inspire in order to make learning a possibility, especially in young children & adolescents. I enjoy teaching children, students of all ages and those willing to learn. As a high school student, I was involved in inner city teaching and I helped hartford students in their studies after their school. I appreciate higher education and I truly understand what it takes to teach as I myself teach my own children with their homework from their own schools after they come home. I have been in a school environment as my favorite pass time was to spend with children. Math is my favorite course. I helped students achieve good grip on calculations and solving problems. In Short- Teaching kids gives me peace and satisfaction in life.
