I learn best by teaching, and there is nothing I like so well as working with people to help them achieve their goals. Writing is, more than anything, a discipline, and I am a source of accountability, encouragement, and instruction as well as a sounding board for my student's ideas. Constructive criticism is essential to build students up, and I avoid all personal or harsh criticism, as well as praise not based in specifics.
I have taught English full time for two years, participated in numerous writing workshops, and been a fiction editor for CreateSpace Publishing and Pressque LLE from 2009 to the present. A Little Bit About Me...

I graduated from Mount Union College in May 2006 with a BA in History and a double minor in Adoloescent to Young Adult Education and American Studies. Throughout high school I was a teacher's assistant helping with students in class during my study halls as well as working one on one with students for extra study skills. In the past few years I have tutored students in elemtary math, middle school reading and writing, and even my own students before and after school in social studies. I began my French career roughly ten years ago. I knew that French would be at the very center of my existence. Therefore, I decided to dedicate my studies to the language. I even wound up living in France for over a year. I lived in Paris for six months and Montpellier for the rest of the year.
