Energetic Honors College Student Willing to Teach Others

Over the course of my education I have taken almost every course offered in most public schools. I have taken numerous AP courses and passed the exams following the classes to gain college credit. I was accepted into the University of South Alabama Honors College and was awarded the Mitchell Business Scholars Scholarship from South Alabama. I scored a 32 on my ACT and graduated high school with a 3.89 GPA and represented the top 10% of my class upon graduating.

I have always valued the importance of a quality education and have encouraged friends with no college ambition to start working on their degrees. I am not, however, an elitist. I think every endeavor is a learning experience, but there are basic skills that are necessary to be successful, such as grammar, spelling, and professionalism. My experience in formal teaching is mostly in college-level public speaking and coaching Little League, but I am a proficient and tedious writer. I am also familiar with APA, MLA, Chicago, Turabian, and BlueBook formatting styles. As a recreational scientist, as I like to call it, I have also learned a great deal about chemistry (mostly inorganic but some organic), biology, and anatomy and physiology.
