I enjoy coming alongside frustrated learners who need an extra boost to support their academic growth. I am very patient and understanding, while at the same time communicating high expectations. I encourage and support my students by learning more about them and what strategies they need to succeed. I work to differentiate for the needs of each learner, recognizing that all students do not learn the same way. Ultimately, I work to instill confidence and a love of learning in each student.
I have taught elementary school for the past six years. I worked in an inclusive classroom where I differentiated for the needs of all students. I particularly love teaching reading, writing, and math.
