Violin is one of my top subjects! I offer lessons for beginners (using Suzuki method) through advanced, at my in-house studio in Farmington. And I can also provide lessons at your home, traveling anywhere along the Wasatch front from Provo to Ogden, as well as Logan and the Cache Valley.

I have over 12 years of experience playing the Violin, and over 5 years of experience providing musical lessons, and Music Theory to all ages of students. I offer lessons for beginners (using Suzuki method) through advanced or professional musicians at my in-house studio in Farmington. The early years of my experience were in the junior high setting. I taught sixth through ninth grade during this time, drawing heavily on my background strengths in theater, literature, grammar, creative writing, and my years as a legal secretary. I developed curriculum for the English department and was instrumental in launching an exploratory study system for alternative, creative learning. For the last twelve years, I have taught basic writing for the Salt Lake Community College and the University of Phoenix. A Little Bit About Me...

I am a results driven teacher. I will try different approaches to get my student to understand the consept at hand. I feel that I am very patient and understanding, and that I can explain concepts in multiple ways to help my students understand what I am teaching them.
While at BYU-Idaho I felt that I gained a strong writing skills. I felt that I really learned how to learn durring my undergraduate experience.
