My experience with tutoring began in high school, when I started assisting elementary students with homework through one of my clubs. Throughout the two years I was involved, I regularly helped 6 students, along with 6 students that I met with irregularly. I have experience tutoring children with behavioral issues, learning disabilities (dyslexia, ADHD, ADD), as well as students on the Autism Spectrum. I'm willing to assist in almost any subject, including elementary school Spanish, up to French 2, and ACT/SAT prep (my scores are available upon request). I have 15 years experience in the lab. My educational requirements to be a med tech means I have taken many science and biology classes. I have had oppotunities to subsitute teach at my childrens' school and really enjoyed the experience.

I have spent the better part of my life either in school or teaching in one form or another. I highly value both the process of learning and of passing on my knowledge. I have intend to make this my life's work and as such have almost always held teaching positions. I tutored fellow students while an undergraduate and after graduation I taught autistic students in math, reading, art, speech therapy and physical education for 5 years. Then, as a graduate student I taught Human Anatomy to undergraduates. Though my own education is in psychology and biology my years of education have provided me with a broad base in the arts, history and literature/writing as well.
