My comments on tutoring Elementary Science : I helped teach a couple of the 5th grade classes at Washington Elementary School.

I am almost finished at Cleveland Community College with my teacher degree in childhood education for children with special needs. I have more then 6 years of college education under my belt because I love to learn, and also because all the different possible courses that a person can take at a community college. A Little Bit About Me...

During my high school career I was frequently called upon to be a teacher's assistant. This was over fourth, fifth, and sixth graders the majority of the time. I think that a lot of learning happens by students being actively engaged in what they are learning. I try to get/make hands on activities for students to learn.

My comments on tutoring Elementary Science : I have studied science ever science elementary schools and have a way of speaking that can simplify moderately challenging concepts.

I like students to understand how the material they are learning can and is being applied to everyday situations. So I often will talk about the big topics that have been covered explain why they are useful and then show the student how to perform various calculations or apply the nessecary logic to solve problems.
