My Montessori training and experience has taught me that the only way students will be successful is to have good self esteem. If you convince them that they can learn and be successful, then that is what they do. I have a talent for creating lessons and materials that are fun and challenging. My students are very special to me and I'm always looking for new materials and lessons to enrich their learning experiences. A Little Bit About Me...

I have studied art from a young age and worked professionally as a fine artist as well as an editorial illustrator. I have given watercolor workshops and tutored [English and reading]. My training includes oil painting workshops with prominent painters out of state. I love to talk about color theory, methods and techniques of representational art.
I like to teach with critiques that dont belittle the child but encourage them to look, think and explore different solutions /options. I teach an understanding of the fundamentals, which is most important as building blocks, in what ever medium chosen. I am patient, humorous and believe teaching art is so fun. I dont' see why anyone would NOT want to take art. It's a fun way of expressing and discovering more things than just the outcome.

A Little Bit About Me...

As the valedictorian of my high school class, I know that all children have the ability to achieve their highest level of education with proper mentoring, coaching and training. All children deserve a healthy start in school and life. I enjoy assisting children with English, research papers, reading and creative writing, and science. My preference is children who are in elementary to middle school.
I truly appreciate helping children, young adults reach their maximum potential and become the best with the gifts they are endowed. A Little Bit About Me...

I just recently graduated with my Master's Degree in Biomedical Sciences from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Suwanee, Georgia. I received my Bachelor's Degree in Biology with a Chemistry Minor in May 2007 from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. I enjoy the sciences very much. I have tutored before with Kumon in Birmingham, AL and Basic Learning Center in Lawrenceville, GA. I tutored children from the ages of 5 to 13 in Reading and Math. I tutored various high school students in Math, Biology, and Chemistry. Before all of this, I also tutored family friends as a part-time job throughout high school and college in various subjects.
