I have always been a very driven and accomplished student, so I feel that I should use my gift to teach others how to become great students. My goal is to work off of the strengths of the students I tutor and build their confidence so that they will have a greater desire to learn. I am an excellent listener. I am also quiet and patient. I believe education is primarily about learning, not merely making a grade. As I applied this philosophy in college, I realized that where true learning occurs good grades follow. I completed a bachelor's in accounting summa cum laude in 2009. In addition to my major focus in finance and business, I completed a minor in History and took an extensive number of English courses as well. The broad liberal arts framework for my college curriculum taught me not only specific subjects, but how to learn and how others learn.
