Dancer/Choreographer/Teacher

My teaching style is unquie, original, and creative. I provide an atmopshere that allows dancers/students to be relaxed, yet put forth thier best efforts in working to thier fullest potential as a dancer. All while having fun and learning the essentials of acheiving at a certain goal, passion, or dream.
I have been teaching dance for the past nine years in styles of ballet, pointe, jazz, contemporary, lyrical, jazz, hip hop, modern, and tap. I have worked at various studios, camps, elementary school programs, youth companies, high school dance teams, and have taught private lessons to students ages 10-adult in and around the bucks county area. I have been an elementary school teacher in a full inclusion charter school for 9 years. I have taught the following grades: Kindergarten, 1st Grade, 4th Grade, 5th Grade and 6th Grade. I have used a balanced literacy program, and various math programs. I have taught phonics, pre-reading/reading skills, literature circles, and math skills. I have used differentiated instruction to work with a variety of levels of education. I am familiar with iep accommodations. I love children and work to make education meaningful.
I am teacher who uses meaningful ways to teach my students. I use elements from all learning styles to help my students learn. I use technology to assist me and to incorporate new strategies that are innvoative.
