I am thankful that I had some "hard" teachers and professors throughout my education. I have honestly grown to understand the importance of success and how nothing worth having comes easily. Every child can learn! I believe that all children learn in different ways and it is a teacher or tutors obligation to find the way each child learns best. My goal with every student I work with is to get them excited about learning and exciting about wanting to know more. Being a big sister has always been my favorite job; therefore, I have always sought out opportunities to mentor. I believe that each child is unique and learns at his or her own pace, and in her or his own special way. Each person understands concepts differently, and I believe that, to be effective, a teacher must discover from what angle to approach a lesson, for the student's optimum ability to absorb the information.
