My classroom setting is focused on the student and their needs. I heavily rely on repetition and object lessons to aid the students in comprehension and application. As an Associate Research Professor at Duke University I conducted research on the health of the elderly population and the genetic background to age-related diseases. I am well published, always serving as my own statistician. The background to most common disorders in adults is complex involving multiple genes, thus I used advanced fuzzy latent class analysis to identify high and low risk sets of gene variants and to define the level of risk for individuals. I am a highly motivated indiviual who has earned there degree in Mechanical Engineering at New Mexico Tech. After graduating I worked for Procter and Gamble as a Manufacturing Engineer which allowed me to teach and train indivisuals how to run the manufacturing lines.
