Hello, I have had a lot of education over the past few years. I graduated with my High School Diploma in 2009, my General Education Diploma in 2011, my Forensic Science Career Diploma in 2012, my Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education in 2012. I also have been on the Dean's and President's list of the colleges I attended. In the past, I have worked at daycare centers and with Head Start programs as well. I am working on a master's degree in communication.

I am currently a substitute teacher at Mountain Grove Schools. My practicum was completed at Mountain Grove Elementary. Subjects taught include math, science, reading and social studies. 1) Give the person you are turtoring an opportunity to tell you where they are having a problem. 2) While working through problems monitor the person you are tutoring to see if there are other problems. 3) Suggest changes. Never force them. There isn't one correct way. Make a suggestion on how to improve and explain why you are making the suggestion. 4) Do multiple versions of a similar problem. The first time I will complete the problem, explaining each step. The next time the person I am tutoring will guide me through the problem, telling me what to do next. Then the person being tutored will do the problem while I observe. 5)Let them make mistakes. Explain why it is a mistake and show them how to detect it in the future.
