My comments on tutoring Portuguese : I think that I'm a good teacher because I came from Brazil, and I have a vast experience with the language.

I began teaching 16 years . I taught mathematics and Portuguese for children with difficulties in doing homework . I continued to teach for five years or more. I taught my daughter now also loves math and she won the tenth place in the Olympics of mathematics in American schools.I believe I am a good teacher .
I'll teach mathematics through the explanations and exercises and Portuguese 'll teach reading and writing through analysis of illustrations and conversations will be on Skype .

As a high school student I tutored as part of the National Honor Society for 2 years. I tutored elementary and middle school students in group settings after school. I helped them with all subjects. After graduating from Michigan State University I have been tutoring privately in college level mathematics. I also attended a semester of Medical School and at the end of the semester I was selected to be a teaching assistant for Anatomy. I assisted for a few weeks but then I had to leave medical school due to bereavement reasons. My experience as an assistant for those weeks was very exciting, but was similar to how I interacted with my lab partners in making sure that everyone knew the material the previous semester.
