French is one of my top subjects! I am a fluent speaker of French being married to a French native and having 12 yrs experience as a high school French teacher.

I have 11 yrs experience teaching in a California high school setting and 5 years experience as a tutor for ESL and for French at OSU, 3 years experience teaching English in France and lived in France for 7 years. I also have taken many students to France on EF Tour trips. I have advised French clubs for 12 years.
I use a variety of methods, some TPR, traditional, CLT, Natural Approach, some immersion, audio - lingual. I am always looking for fun ways to teach and I feel that students learn so much easier when their teacher is as enthused as they are about learning the language.

A Little Bit About Me...

As a graduate of Wheeling Jesuit University in General Science Physics, I have completed extensive coursework in the areas of math, science, and engineering. I am looking to obatin an accelerated teaching certificate and I believe this would be a good start for me. I have completed coursework in upper level biology and physics as well as general chemistry. I have completed math through calculus II. I have always been a help to my family members in their math and science coursework. My liberal arts education makes me a well rounded canidate as I have experience from courses in all areas.

More About This Tutor...

I have helped tutor friends’ kids on math from little school to high school. I have taken math all the way up to Differential equations and feel alright tutoring up to calculus one. I do not possess documented experience from schools or other organizations. I am a very highly motivated individual that does not mind helping others. I also have experience in teaching or helping coach little league sports educating kids on how to play games correctly. I have also been an assistant coach and helped out at Clinton Community College with girl’s softball under the head coach.
I like to teach using examples, either on a board to show a person step by step first. Then try to give the student examples to try to solve themselves. If this does not work I continue to breakdown a problem until we can clearly identify where the student is having trouble.

A Little Bit About Me...

I graduated with an MBA in International Business, started a career in Marketing Management and then got into International Education. A few years ago, I was given the opprotunity to teach part time at my alma mater. I taught assoiciate and bachelor's level students such subjects as Introduction to Marketing and Strategic Marketing. This unique experience strenghened my teaching skills. I then realized I had a talent and love for education.
