A Little Bit About Me...

After completing my graduate program and student teaching at Latham Ridge Elementary School, I became an aide within the same building. This position lent itself to filling in maternity years the following year. I was then hired as a sixth grade teacher and have been in that position since that time. At this point, I teach mathematics, reading, and writing. All of the students with special needs are placed into my classroom each year. In addition to classroom teaching, I have taught several students once they have graduated into the middle school.
In addition to academics, my students and I focus a lot on being good citizens, and having open/honest communication. I try to foster an environment that instills respect and understanding.
