Private and group lessons- Beginner Level Dance!

No matter the technique, I always start with a thorough warm up. I begin with relaxing exercises and lead into more rigorous and conditioning exercises. I then move on to teaching and reviewing the technique. I always make sure the client has a basic understanding of the form before moving onto more advance movement. I end with repertory/choreography to further develop the clients understanding of the movement and implement their findings into practical means. For children, I also leave time for a dance game to further challenge their understanding and entertain their senses.
I have been teaching dance for four years, ranging from groups of 20 young students to private sessions for adults. I typically work with children and am experienced with large groups. I received my Bachelors Degree in 2012 from Temple University and studied ballet, jazz, modern, tap, contemporary and musical theater. I am currently in school in the Masters of Arts program at Temple University. I have performed in many shows and also choreographed many dance works through college.
