I use a comprehensive homeschool curriculum with progress monitoring reports, and my lessons are interactive and designed to meet the needs of each student. I try to have fun and make it relevant to their own experience, and I ensure that every student feels included and welcomed. I finished high school with the highest math class possible (calculus). I have been tutoring students since I was sixteen and still tutoring. In many cases, examples are helpful in learning. Examples that are tailored to a specific student (e.g. drawing correlations to cooking for measurements, or sports for averages) can be a great basis for understanding concepts.
