I have a B.Mus. from Five Towns College. I have been actively involved in music almost all of my life. I've played in numerous groups of varied styles, at various venues. I also have a passion for learning and education, which has always led me to delving deeply into all subjects I have encountered, and excelling in advanced courses in math, music, history, etc. I tutored 20 hrs a week all throughout my college career, and have experience as a teacher's aide in a school for mentally and behaviorally challenged children. I am a Returned Peace Corps Volunteer. I served in The Gambia West Africa as a health and community development volunteer. As a volunteer I worked in a local hospital on a daily basis, performing a variety of roles. I am a graduate of Roger Williams University. I have a BS in biology. RWU's science courses are intensive in both lecture and laboratory proficiency. As a result I’m able to tutor both lecture and laboratory portions of a course.

I have a very unique teaching style in that I like to incorporate many different presentation methods and I am a firm believer of teaching to multiple intelligences. No two students learn the same way and if the student is not learning the teacher is just as responsible as the student. This being said I have used many different teaching methods from having the students performing, and singing to setting up shops to buy and sell products.
