I thoroughly enjoy accounting and would be honored to work with children and young adults in teaching them the skills I have gained throughout the years. I believe in teaching hands on and focusing on children's strengths rather than their weaknesses. Through my University’s thorough teacher preparation program, I worked with general education students and students with disabilities. I promote the development and well being of all individuals through my planning and implementation of developmentally appropriate programs, emphasizing learning through play and creative activities. I recently graduated in May 2008 from Salve Regina University with a Bachelors of Science and a degree in Early Childhood Education, and a minor in Special Education. I have obtained a Bachelor's degree in psychology from Western New England College and a Master's degree from the University of New Haven. While I worked at the University of New Haven, I was a Graduate Learning Assistant in the Disability Services office where I tutored and advised many students with various learning disabilities. I tutored students in numerous subjects such as psychology, math, science and history.
