A Little Bit About Me...

I started tutoring in 7th grade back in 1976. I have been tutoring my own kids for over 14 years. I have been a Scout leader for over 9 years. I worked with boys ages 5 to 18 years of age. I have brought 2 learning disabled teens into my home to help them graduate High School. Both have gone on to be Certified Welders. I have presided over the Parental Acceptance Committee for both Fremont and all five of WSOS HeadStart Counties and all the centers in the School Districts of those counties. I am working on my Associate in Electronics and Computer Technology. I am also working on 17 IT Certificates and 9 Windows Certificates. After I get my ECT Associate I will start working on my BS in Electrical Engineering.

A Little Bit About Me...

I have been a teach/tutor since 1977. I have worked at a large school system for many years and at Community Colleges. Tutored students from 7th grade to 12th and college students. Math, Physics, Applied Sciences, and all facets of Computer skills. I have worked with students of advanced learning and those with less than average learning skills. I have learned over the many years to approach each student on a slightly different bases, we all learn differently.
Working with grades 7-12 I used various methods of teaching different age groups. I use every day applications for courses to make it symbolic and understandable for students. As a "second career" teacher, I earned a Master of Education degree at the University of Toledo and am licensed to teach Integrated Science (i.e., Earth and Space Sciences, Life Sciences, and Physical Sciences) for seventh through twelfth grades.
