I received my Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Penn State in 2007. Since then, I spent the next two years as a child and adolescent counselor. I taught clients in a group setting about social and interpersonal skills, as well as aiding teachers in various school subjects. In high school, I took part in an extracurricular program which tutored local middle school children with homeworks and projects after school. Repetition is a key throughout my process - I feel the more comfortable a student feels in mathematics, the more willing they are to practice outside of class and tutoring and understand it.

I completed my BS degree in electrical engineering in 2007. While pursing that degree, I took coursework in Math (through Calc I-III, Differential Equations, and Linear Systems Analysis) Physics, and Chemistry. Following graduation I worked as a project engineer constructing and commissioning an oil refinery in southwest Asia. Among with my technical responsibilities, I participated in training future local operators via translator.
To begin, I have always loved science and working with numbers. I'm very patient when trying to explain a topic to someone. I believe the majority of problems with comprehension people have, especially in math/science, are due to an incomplete background or an unclear explanation. With time and effort, most anyone can learn just about anything, and participating in that is very satisfying.
