My experience with teaching began in 2004 as a volunteer for William Saroyan Elementary School in Fresno, CA. I have a very hands on approach to teaching. I would first explain how the problem is answered, then explain why it is answered in that fashion. I believe it is important to understand the why a problem is answered because then they can start to understand a little more about the keys to accounting. I was a math tutor at "Math Crazy" for about 2 years. It's located near Clovis West High School in Fresno on Teague and Milbrook. The highest math class I tutored was Pre-Calculus. I got a 4 on my AP Calculus Exam, and currently I am enrolled in Math 81 (Differential Equations and Linear Algebra) at California State University-Fresno, last math class for my Civil Engineering major. So far, I got straight A's in my math classes and I plan on taking two more math classes to get a minor in Math.
