My comments on tutoring Calculus II : Earned an A at Fresno city college

I only bring what helped me earn a 4.0 at fresno state and fresno city college.
I have very little experience in tutoring. I do however, have a B.A chem degree and graduated Summa Cum Laude. I can bring this experience to help others achieve what I have. I really is not that hard. I just takes lots of time, dedication, and sacrifice. I do have experience working with groups of other students, and have been giving out good study advice for years. However, If time and energy is not dedicated to studies, good results will not follow.

I graduated from Fresno State in 1990 and have worked in the private sector ever since. I started out as an entry level accountant and worked my way up to Chief Financial Officer. Currently, I am self-employed, helping businessed get out of a financial bind or to help clean up their accounting. Before I was an accounting major, I was a mathematics major. I am currently a grad student at CSU-Fresno studying for a master’s degree in biotechnology. My undergraduate was in biomedical science with math and chemistry minors. I have over one year’s experience tutoring at a professional tutoring center. I am also a TA (teaching assistant) at CSF-Fresno, where I assist in the labs for an introduction to biology class.
My teaching/tutoring style is helping the student understand the problem and assisting them towards the answer without trying to give them the answer.
