I enjoy walking students through new information and giving them a firm understanding of the concepts and facts. I believe that there is nothing outside of a students grasp. Many teachers will say the same thing, that they love teaching and it is only outside factors that will disrupt a class and make it difficult for some students to learn. I delight in helping students to acquire new knowledge and there is satisfaction in having students thank the teacher after a class. I like to work with small groups and encourage these groups to explore and teach each other from my leading. A Little Bit About Me...

As an undergraduate student at East Carolina University, I expanded my knowledge in the field of pedagogy and gained experience in different classroom settings. In the midst of my junior year, I taught students in an after-school art class. This opportunity gave me the chance to work with children in a formal teaching environment.
