I teach in a style that relates to the students current conditions. Each lesson is tailored to bring reality, and importance to their lives while not challenging their autonomy. It is critical to get each student to understand the far reaching importance of historical events, and how they still effect today's atmosphere. I use various graphic organizers to break down each historical event we talk about, and candid discussion gaging the depths of comprehension.
As a graduate of Northern Illnois, and with currenty enrollment in NC Teach at Western Carolina a commitment to excellence in education would be an understatment. I am university biomedical research employee and teach a biochemistry credit recovery program for high school students on the weekend. A Little Bit About Me...

My freshman year at Clemson I tutored 7th graders in math. I was also a tutor in high school for a k-6 school for children with low-income families. It has always been a passion of mine to help others with grasping a subject.
My favorite part of tutoring is working with children who are frustrated with a subject and being able to break it down and teach it to them in a way that they can relate to. Also, the self-confidence the student gets that comes from being prepared for a test is very important.
