Hello! I am a research chemist working at Clemson University. I received my doctorate at University of Chicago in 2019 in the physical sciences. Meeting the student where they are at academically and striving to help them succeed in school is my teaching style. That might require stacking up 100 pennies to teach about percentages; drawing pictures or graphs to teach how to do words problems in math; or making up short stories using the phonics and reading skills I’m trying to teach.
