After receiving my bachelor's degree, I went to school part time to work on my Master's degree while subbing in area schools. I accepted a position as a teaching assistant, and two long term positions. I also tutored a junior high school student in all subjects.

Working with children of all ages has taught me just how important education is. Reading and writing is especially important and they will need it in their everyday life. Becoming a teacher has been one of my life's passions. I have earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Adolescent Education and Mathematics and am currently working on a Master of Arts degree in Education, Curriculum, Instruction, and Mathematics. I have experience in teaching an array of mathematics classes from 7th grade Math up to Calculus and College Algebra. Currently, I work for the Saratoga Springs and Ballston Spa school districts as a home instructor for grades 6 to 12. I enjoy working with the kids one on one and feel wonderful about helping them stay up to date with their school work until they are physically able to return to the regular classroom setting.
