I enjoy helping people to learn. Aside from knowledge base expertise, certain qualities exemplify a good tutor: patience and being a good listener. Understanding a student’s learning strategies is foundational and incorporates good listening qualities. A desirable outcome will then be more achievable for the student. I try to let my student, regardless of age/grade, not feel intimidated or unintelligent regarding a certain subject or problem.
