A Little Bit About Me...

My desire to teach stems from my hopeful view of youth. During the past seven years I have been successful in promoting access to higher education to youth of diverse backgrounds by organizing educational workshops and/or working directly on school campuses. I have earned a B.A. in Communications with an emphasis in advertising and a minor in Chicano Studies, which has enabled me to gain skills in public speaking, creative writing and art. I have over 25 years experience as a hospital (CFO) Chief Financial Officer. My educational experience includes: teaching high school, teaching college and tutoring elementary and junior high school. I hold a PhD in Financial Management. I have taught English, math, Spanish, accounting, money and banking, investments, human resource management. I have taken these tests myself or have learned how to tutor these: GED, Entrance Exams, GMAT,GRE, MCAT, PCAT, Skills, Strategies and SAT verbal and math.
