My comments on tutoring Vocals : Love to sing and enjoy teaching Hindustani classical vocal lessons

I have more than 10yrs of experience in tutoring Chemistry and biology to High school students as well as Undergrad students both in person and online. I earned my Masters degree in Chemistry and did my Ph.D in Medicinal chemistry. Have worked in Academics for nearly 14yrs. I also have experience teaching Hindustani vocal lessons to both adults and kids. I have had the experience of being trained from well known artist Pandita Tripti Mukherji who is leading disciple of living Legendary vocalist Pandit Jasraj.

A Little Bit About Me...

During my high school years I would volunteer to help children through various charities and church. When I attended college I became an Early Childhood Education major and volunteered in preschool and elementary schools. During my Student Teaching in Des Plaines I was in complete control of a Kindergarten classroom and later a 2nd Grade class. After graduating I began working in a daycare where I created activities for children as young as 3 years old and activities and homework help for elementary students as old as 13.
When I am teaching I am very patient and try to organize the lesson or my assistance in steps. I'll have the child read the problem or question, ask what they know about it, see if they understand the question and proceed. Since graduating from Northern Illinois University, I have had several experiences teaching children at the elementary and middle school age. I was a nanny for a family of three for a year right after graduating. It was a wonderful experience and gave me the opportunity to create my own lessons and activities for the children. The following year I was a substitute teacher in Wisconsin for various grade levels and loved each experience. I am looking forward to beginning to substitute teach again this December in the DeKalb area.
