Throughout high school, I tutored my fellow peers in all areas of education. In my senior year, I ran the tutoring program as well as tutored others. In college, I volunteered with my sorority to tutor fellow classmates. In law school, I was a teacher's assistant, wherein I taught legal procedures to 30-40 students. Lastly, I taught two legal classes at Everest University, Torts and Legal Writing.
I have always enjoyed teaching others and sharing my knowledge with them. There is a certain feeling of satisfaction when I am able to reach an individual by explaining a concept to them. I feel comfortable teaching in most areas of education.

My teaching style is compassionate and geared toward each individual student's learning needs. I strive to create learning situations that address the specific needs of each learner. I enjoy teaching and working with children. As far as I'm concerned there is nothing more important than a good education. Because my expectations are high, many of my students strive to meet these expectations and realize they are capable of doing more than they thought they could. I realize not all children learn at the same pace, and am therefore patient and relaxed in my teaching style. I like to show students hands-on methods of solving problems. I believe this helps to make the information concrete and not easily forgotten. I feel each child learns differently and if one method does not succeed there is always another to try until we reach one that works for that child.
