It has been my great pleasure to have taken part in several classroom setting teaching opportunities and numerous tutoring jobs. I taught Chemistry and Calculus to incomming university freshman in the Engineering Freshman Transition Program (eFTP) and proctored and designed the University of Florida's Tissue Engineering Lab class. As a graduate of Lynn University, I am very much driven to help students excel in Academics. I work for a grant funded program called, Upward Bound which I work and mentor high school students in the pursuit of going to to post-secondary education. I mentor students in financial aid, homework assistance, essay, reference letters, procedures how to get into college..I have also tutored students in reading, science, math, English, psychology.
I believe all students can learn if they put their mind into it and have someone supporting them in their efforts. A Little Bit About Me...

From my many years of teaching experience, I have adopted a few different teaching styles due to the fact that every student learns differently. For instance, some students are very slow learners and some aren't, obviously; and so I may use a different approach based on the student(s) or class I happen to be teaching at the time. A Little Bit About Me...

I have been working with children for most of my adult career. While earning a Master's Degree, I taught Math at a local High School. At first, I accepted the position, because it gave me an opportunity to continue working with children and because the school schedule granted me the opportunity to take early afternoon classes. While teaching, I realized my potential as an educator, as well as my passion for teaching.
I especially love working with Elementary and High School students. My approach to teaching is to get the students involved in the learning process. I demonstrate how to solve the problem first and then give students the opportunity to show me how the problem is to be solved. Practice makes perfect and my students are able to achieve high grades, because I do not teach new material, until the old ones are mastered.
