15 years experience in a broad variety of subjects!

I have a way of perceiving the difficulty the student has, and am able to explain the material in a simple way that makes it easy for students to grasp. Writing is one of my top subjects!

I have a collaborative style of teaching. My ultimate goal is to get students to think, regardless of their age. With younger students, I tend to be much more directive so that we accomplish intended learning. With middle and high school students, I ask "Why" and "How do you know" quite often so that they learn to provide evidence for their thinking.
