I am a graduate of Tennessee Temple University, with experience tutoring at Tennessee Temple University, as well as University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, in various topics, including biodiversity, mathematics (up to pre-calculus), history, and American Sign Language. My comments on tutoring Grammar : I have tutored students about grammar at the middle school level, and I would feel comfortable tutoring at the high school level also (SAT, ACT, etc.).

I am a big proponent of the theory of multiple intelligences and believe that each student has certain styles of learning that work best for them. I aim to help students figure out how they learn best. Once they realize where their strengths are, they can incorporate the concept into all of their studies, not just the subject for which I happen to be tutoring them.
I have tutored a wide variety students on many subjects. I am most experienced tutoring high school students for the SAT. I have tutored for Acers tutoring in Orlando for a full year. I have full experience with teaching reading and writing, as well as somer lower level algebra and mathematic skills. The kids have ranged from ages 8-14. As well, I have been giving guitar lessons to kids between the ages of 10-14. My comments on tutoring Grammar : Elementary school only

I believe every student has their own style of learing. I am very much a visual learner and utilize this style. Many students, though, are tactile learners and/or find their attention is kept using computers. I love discovering what type of learner each child is. ALL STUDENTS WELCOME!

Whenever I can, I like to be very hands-on in my teaching my students. For example, once I was teaching my class about trees. I had them go outside and collect samples of bark which had fallen on the ground. Then we created a gigantic mural in my classroom and glued the pieces of bark to a tree we had drawn.
